Independent fire safety review of a project before approval or construction.
We review an architectural or engineering project from a fire safety perspective — before it's built, approved, or put out to tender. The goal is to catch problems early, before they turn into delays, rework, or extra cost. We check evacuation routes and exits, fire compartments, structural fire resistance, smoke extraction, fire detection and suppression systems, access for fire engines, and the consistency between the architectural and engineering parts of the project.

Most useful before submitting the project for approval, but we also review already-completed projects, or during construction when something changes.

At what stage is it best to request a project review?+
The earlier, the cheaper it is to fix an issue — ideally at concept or technical design stage, before submission for approval. But we also review already-completed projects when needed.
